We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Rose-Anne Park, who is also known as Rose; a 19 year old daughter of Cyhiraeth. She is a student and a baker at Black Forest Bakery.
FC NAME/GROUP: Roseanne Park from Black Pink CHARACTER NAME: Rose-Anne Park AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: 19 / February 11th, 1997 PLACE OF BIRTH: Melbourne, Australia OCCUPATION: Part-time baker at Black Forest Bakery and student at Phoenix University HEIGHT: 168cm WEIGHT: 50kg DEFINING FEATURES: Has a faint scar on her left leg after a dog bit her. PERSONALITY: Most of the days, Rose is an up-bright and loving fellow. She likes puns, bad puns and cat videos as much as she likes whipped cream (and she really likes whipped cream). However those are the days when she’s not deeply affected by the visions that she had when in touch with the water. Like the element, she can be as refreshing and inviting, but can also be as gloomy and dangerous. She tends to be melancholic which has her living sometimes in her own bubble. Yet in order to escape from that fate, she feels the happiest when creating something. In the art of baking, Rose found a safe have to which she can escape without harming anyone (unless that people has diabetes). Instead of letting negative emotions and feelings bring her down, she takes and turns them into something beautiful, into something that she knows people are going to like and enjoy. HISTORY: Rose-Anne Park was born and raised in Melbourne, in a spider-infested but always warm Australia. Her father, both a well-known chef and business man, ran a handful of restaurants to which she always liked to go after school was over. It was during those short moments, before her step-mother would come in to get her home, that Rose learned the basics about pastries and bakery. Even tho she was the boss’ daughter, she was always a joy to have around (especially when the head chef would come back with an uncooked dish and would lash on the entire team for the poor work. It was obvious that her father looked up to Gordon Ramsay in more than one way).
Even tho she had some trouble in English class and didn’t particularly enjoyed taking Physical Education, Rose was a good student in general. One time she made it her school’s honor students. She had a good relationship with her parents. Every Sunday morning she and her father would play soccer and every week night she’d help her mother with dinner – but only once homework was done.
It was a good life until her mother passed away on a car accident. A drunk driver hit the driver’s side and she died immediately. It was sad and it was a hard time for the entire family, but that was not what frightened the now young teen the most. Rose foresaw her mother’s death. At first, she thought it to be only an unfortunate coincidence, but then visions of death and tragedy started to assault her and slowly she started to distance herself from people. Even her father.
When confronted with this sudden change of heart by her father, she reluctantly explained him (in case he’d start to think his daughter went nuts for good) that she foresaw her mother’s death, but also other tragic events. More than once, she wondered if she shouldn’t see a doctor, but something inside her, call it a sixth sense, told her that whatever she was going through could not be solved by pills; it was far greater than that.
Rose was around 14 years-old when she found out that the woman she knew as her mother was, in fact, her step-mother and that her biological one was a goddess, Cyhyraeth. At least now she knew she was her father’s daughter because that kind of crazy could only be won by genetic inheritance. But the thought got stuck in her and Rose did her homework; she researched and read everything she found about this goddess. The worst of all? It made sense. Meanwhile, she stopped going to the beach and showering revealed itself to be a task worth of Hercules.
The news that she’d be moving to South Korea came whilst she was still getting herself together. It was sudden, indeed, but she knew that a change would do them good. Nothing kept her in Australia; she had friends, but not close enough to be missed. Rose was around 15 years-old when she moved with her father into South Korea.
But it was not until she was eighteen that she moved to Mount Phoenix after much discussion with her father. South Korea was definitely different from Australia, which got her feel uneasy whenever she’d go. Water parks were a big no for her and even tho she started to go on beach walks and night walks by the Han river, being around water would always cause her to feel ambiguity. High school was hard and after discussing it with her father, she decided to take a patisserie course at a professional school. From that moment on, when she moved into Mount Phoenix, she enrolled into its university and took a part-time job at a bakery.
PANTHEON: Celtic CHILD OF: Cyhyraeth POWERS: Rose is able to foresee death, danger and tragic events through direct contact with water, but whenever she consumes it. STRENGTHS: Creative, a good listener and adviser, responsible, disciplined. WEAKNESSES: Melancholic, reserved (as in not letting people get closer), lonesome.

Australia: The New Destination for Culinary Dreams
Everywhere you go, people are talking about organic foods, farmer’s markets, pop-up restaurants, healthy cooking and fusion foods. Culinary shows have taken over reality television and everyone wants to be a MasterChef! Indian parents are more open to their children pursuing what was previously an unconventional career choice.
While Europe has traditionally been the capital of learning for all things culinary, Australia is gaining recognition as a place that is eclectic and offers varied experiences in the realm of food.
Traditional Spanish, Italian and local cuisines have been popular for decades, while Asian and fusion cooking is sparking interest across Australia. This coming together of cuisines and availability of rich local produce, seafood and meats provides the perfect environment for budding chefs, pastry chefs and hospitality enthusiasts. Australian cities like, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide showcase gastronomic trends that are creative and innovative. The culinary schools in these cities also harbour the same qualities and empower their students with the newest skills.
With a population of about 23 million, Australia is looking to attract a diverse mix of international students. Course duration
The certificate III course is for a duration of one year, whereas the certificate IV course is for a duration of one-and-half years. The bachelor degree is offered for three years full time.
Cost
The cost of the three-year bachelor’s program is approximately in the range of Rs. 20-35 lakhs; certificate courses are less expensive.
Leading institutions offering culinary courses
Le Cordon Bleu in Australia is one of the most well-known culinary institutes. Others include: School of Culinary Arts at Australian College of Applied Education, William Blue College of Hospitality Management, as well as the Victorian Institute of Culinary Arts and Technology.
What makes these culinary courses attractive?
Students enrolled in Australian culinary schools graduate with internationally recognised qualifications and develop job-ready skills. Students benefit from learning with high-quality hospitality educators as well as gain real industry experience through work-based learning. Le Cordon Bleu for example has campuses in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
